#1 Konstantin Weis
Goalkeeper, Fordham University, Karlsruhe, Germany
Weis previously played some club ball in Germany, where he played for SV Waldhof Mannheim, and previously played for SV Sanhausen Youth. He played in all 20 of the Rams’ contests in 2019. He totaled 68 saves to go with seven shutouts.
#2 Thomas DeVizio
Defender, Rutgers University, Scotch Plains, NJ
DeVizio has been a member of the Player Development Academy (PDA) since 2015. In four seasons with Rutgers, he has earned 2021 Team Captain, 2019 preseason All-Big Ten, and 2018 Big-Ten All Freshman team. A two year Rutgers captain & your FC Motown 2022 USL2 Captain.
#3 Christopher Tiao
Defender, Rutgers University, Randolph NJ
Tiao made his debut for Red Bulls II (USL) in May 2019. He was a Generation Adidas Cup U17 Finalist in 2017 and was also a NJ State Cup champion in 2015. As a junior in the fall of 2021, he played in all nine matches with eight starts. He was also Academic All-Big Ten in 2021.
#4 Dominic De Almeida
Defender, Georgetown University, Lincoln Park NJ
De Almeida participated in the US Youth National Team Camps from U14-U16, and was captain of the US Youth National team when they played in Croatia. In 2020 for Georgetown, he was an All BIG EAST All-Academic selection.
#5 Jaden Strumeier
Defender, University of North Carolina Wilmington, Morganville NJ
Strumeier played two varsity seasons of soccer in high school. He was a member of a group 4 state finalist team. In 2020 he earned First Team All-Colonial Athletic distinction. As a junior in 2021, he appeared in 12 games with nine starts.
#6 Anthony O’Donnell
Midfielder, Rutgers University, Staten Island NY
O’Donnell won the PSAL City championship as a freshman starter in high school. He was also a State Cup champion with Staten Island United, where he played up two age groups. As a freshman in 2019, he appeared in 17 games and made seven starts. He also won the Mike Miller Most Improved Player award in 2019.
#7 Assane Fall
Forward, Long Island University, Rufisque, Dakar, Senegal
Fall appeared in four matches, tallying one goal and three assists in 2020. He was a part of the NEC All-Tournament team and was NEC Player of the Week,(Nov 2) in 2021. In his 2021 campaign he scored six goals, including two game-winners, and four assists in 20 matches. He notched the game winner in the 89’ against Maryland in the NCAA tournament on November 18, 2021.
#8 Peter Stroud
Midfielder, Duke University, Chester NJ
Stroud played for West Ham United in England before going to Duke. He joined West Ham United in the summer of 2018, playing for the U18 and U23 teams. In his 2020 season with Duke, he started all 17 games and earned All-ACC Third Team, as well as ACC All-Freshman Team. He was also voted Duke’s Most Valuable Player that season. In 2021 he was the ACC Midfielder of the Year, All-ACC First Team, and All-ACC Tournament Team. He played in all of Dukes’ 20 games, starting 19 of them.
#9 Rene White
Forward, New Jersey Institute of Technology, Bloomfield NJ
White won 2015 NorthJersey.com Player of the Year and is the all-time leading scorer at Hawthorne Christian Academy. He finished his collegiate career with CoSIDA Academic All-America First-Team and All-District First-Team selectee. Also America East Conference first-team, All-Academic Team, and ECAC Division 1 First Team. Drafted in the MLS super draft by Real Salt Lake.
#10 Zachary Riviere
Attacker, Georgetown University, Piscataway NJ
Riviere played one season as a sophomore with Saint Joseph High School. He played club ball with the Player Development Academy, where he was ranked top 15 in the nation in his final season with the program. In his 2021 campaign, he saw action in all 22 games, starting in 18 of them. He recorded five goals and four assists in 2021.
#11 Josiah Crawford
Forward, Montclair State University, Berkeley Heights NJ
Transferred to MSU from St John’s. Crawford was a Second Team United Soccer Coaches All-American in 2021. He started and played in 21 games, with five goals and six assists on 59 shots. Josiah is an STA Alum.
#12 Benjamin Zakowski
Forward, Monmouth University, Glen Rock NJ
Zakowski scored 51 career goals and 20 assists at Glen Rock. He was a two-time First Team All-League honors, as well as First Team All-State and First Team All-Bergen County as a senior. In 2021, he started in 18 matches and compiled five goals and five assists. He was on the 2019 All-MAAC rookie team, the 2020-21 All-MAAC team, and was on the 2021 MAAC All-Academic Team.
#13 Shane Keenan
Goalkeeper, Montclair State University, Hazlet NJ
Keenan was All-American, All-State, and All-Tri State in high school at Christian Brothers Academy. He also attended the University of Connecticut before transfering to MSU. In his 2021 season he led the NCAA with a .32 goals against average. He tallied 11 wins and 32 saves while just allowing four goals. Had a span of nine consecutive games where he did not allow a goal.
#14 Justin Aguirre-Rosas
Midfielder, Sophomore, NJIT, Parsippany NJ
Aguirre-Rosas played for Parsipany Hill HS and also played for the Player Development Academy (PDA). He appeared in 16 matches, including eight starts in his first season as NJIT.
#15 Lucas Ross
Forward, University of North Carolina, West Orange NJ
Ross played his high school soccer with Seton Hall Prep. He also played club ball for the Player Development Academy. In high school he won All-State honors as well as a state championship
#16 Gerald Cubero
Forward, New Jersey Institute of Technology, Bound Brook NJ
Cubero earned First Team All-State and First Team All-Conference in high school. He scored 101 goals and recorded 22 assists in three seasons. As a junior in 2019 he earned ASUN Conference Second Team honors. He started all 19 games and scored five goals.
#17 Grant Barrientos
Midfielder, George Washington University, Boonton NJ
Barrientos played with the STA Morris United Soccer Club and competed with the New York Red Bulls Academy as a freshman. In his 2021 season, he saw action in 14 games with 10 starts and totaled a career-high 841 minutes played. Grant is an STA Alum.
#18 William Stroud
Defender, Colgate University, Chester NJ
Stroud earned All-State, All-Conference, and All-County honors as a senior in 2017, where he helped lead Delbarton to a 2017 state championship. He played club ball for Player Development Academy, where they won the 2016 State Cup. Stroud has played in 39 games for Colgate, and has started in 37 of those. In 2021 he earned Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, and Raider Academic Honor Roll in 2019.
#19 Tommy Scalici
Forward, St John's University, Denville NJ
Scalici was named the Gatorade New Jersey Boys Soccer Player of the Year and scored 84 career goals in his high school. He earned United Soccer Coaches All-America status after finding the back of the net 30 times and dishing out 15 assists as a senior. In 2021 he played in seven matches and made six starts.
#20 Babcar Diene
Forward, Rider University, Senegal
Diene is going to play for the men's soccer program. A recent addition to Motown’s forward line with a lot of natural talent.
#21 Paavo Riihijarvi
Midfielder, Seton Hall University, Oulu Finland
Riihijarvi played soccer at the Darlington Soccer Academy in Georgia. He played two seasons with Coastal Carolina before transferring to Seton Hall. In his first season with the Pirates in 2016, he started all 16 games and logged 1,165 minutes played. He started four of the 11 games he appeared in, in 2021.
#22 Adam Garner
Midfielder, Coker University, Liverpool England
Garner previously attended Indian Hills Community College where he played soccer for ICCAC regular season and tournament champions. In 2018-19 he appeared in 13 matches for Coker, while starting eight of those games. He started all but one game in his 2019-20 season notching two assists.
#23 Aidan Dunphy
Forward, John Hopkins University, Florham Park NJ
Dunphy had 33 goals and 42 assists in three seasons with Seton Hall Prep.
In his 2021 season at John Hopkins, he played all 19 games and started 17 of them. He was also an honorable mention for All-Centennial Conference (2021). Played for Motown U23 in 2020 and was an integral part of a successful group. Aidan is an STA Alum.
#24 Chris Noriega
Defender, Colgate University, Somerville NJ
Noriega won All-American honors as a senior at Delbarton High School, where he led them to a North Jersey, Non-Public Class A title and Morris County tournament championship. He has played in 23 collegiate matches, starting in 20 of those games. Noriega has one career goal and one assist with 1,874 minutes logged. Chris is an STA Alum.
#25 Anthony Pinto
Goalkeeper, Washington College, Matawan NJ
Pinto played for Christian Brothers Academy in high school where he was tied for second in shutouts in the Shore Conference. He earned All-Division and All-County first team, as well as All-Shore and All-State second team. Starting GK for Washington College who lost in the D3 NCAA sweet 16.
#26 Maximum Jennings
Defender, Georgetown University, Montclair NJ
Jennings was a two-year starter in high school for The Hotchkiss School. He was named to the 2019 WNEPSSA All-Star Game. He was a four-year starter and one-time captain with his club team.
#27 Nicolas Nee
Forward, Princeton University, Carrollton Texas
Nee won back-to-back state titles with his club team, the Solars. He led his team in scoring with 17 goals. Nee was invited to US National Team Training Pools. He won the U17 Development Academy national championship. He had a goal and one assist in six matches with the Red Bulls Academy U19 team.
#28 Brian Parades
Defender, LIU Brooklyn
Parades is a two year FC Motown player who has featured in the US Open Cup. A 3 year player at LIU Brooklyn.
#29 Matthew Moran
Midfielder, New Jersey Institute of Technology, Wayne NJ
Moran attended Penn Foster High School in Pennsylvania. In 2021 he saw action in 10 games, including seven starts. He scored his first collegiate goal against Binghamton in a 3-2 win.
#30 Micaah Garnette
Forward, St. John’s University, Parlin NJ
Garnette led his high school team to a three-year record of 47-10-2, winning three state championships. He was named NJ.com Player of the Year in 2020, while also being a two-time First Team All-State honoree. As a freshman in 2021 he appeared in 18 matches, starting in five of them. He also tallied one goal and one assist. Garnette is currently traveling with his country with the U20 squad, St.Kitts and Nevis.
#31 Kyle Linhares
Forward, Georgetown University, Teaneck, NJ
Linhares was a four-year starter with the Player Development Academy (PDA), where he and his team won the Atlantic Division in 2018-19 and was ranked among the top three in the nation. He scored 48 career goals with PDA. In 2020 he appeared in all of Georgetown’s 14 games, he played in all 22 games in 2021.
#32 Ryan Friedberg
Goalkeeper, Westfield NJ, Cornell University Fall 2022
Friedberg was a two-year starter with Westfield High School from 2018-2019. In 2017 he played for UCFC Forest (US Youth Soccer, National League Conferences, EDP). He was a member of NJ Elite Watchung Hills (US Youth Soccer, National League Conferences, EDP, Mid Atlantic Premier 1) in 2018. Finally in 2019, he played for STA Morris United (ECNL- Elite Clubs National League). Ryan is an STA Alum
#33 Jaden Logdon
Forward, Rochester Institute of Technology, East Stroudsburg PA
Logdon played for East Stroudsburg and was a team captain. He was a Second Team All-EPC Selection and also played club ball for Keystone Athletic. In 2021 he earned the Liberty League Rookie of the Year. He was also a First Team All-Liberty League selection, and started in 18 games in 2021.

Peterson started 15 games for Rutgers in the 2016 and 2017 seasons. Prior to his time with the Scarlet Knights, he spent two seasons at N.C. State. He has had stints at various pro and amateur clubs including Detroit City FC, Stumptown and Albio SD
#38 Hayden Criollo
Forward, Senior, Lasalle University, Union NJ
Criollo played at Lasalle making over 20 starts. He had trials at various clubs including Seattle
Sounder. Has been a permanent fixture in the Motown squads for the past two years. A Red Bull skills performer and tik tok star.
#40 Emiland Elezaj
Woodbridge high school standout striker. Went to Europe on trials after spending some time with Red Bull Academy.
#41 Jason Pereira
Defender, Providence College, Bloomfield NJ
Perira played for the Players Development Academy (PDA), was named a United Soccer Coaches All-American, and won NJ.com Player and Defender of the Year.
#42 Matthew Acosta
Midfielder, Sophomore, Rutgers University, Annandale NJ
Acosta played for New York Red Bull Academy & has featured as part of their USL Championship squad. As a freshman at Rutgers, he earned the honors of unanimously being selected to the All-Big Ten Freshman Team. In his freshman campaign in 2021, he played in all 17 games averaging 80 minutes per contest.
#43 Owen Murphy
Midfielder, Montclair State University, Scotch Plains NJ
In his 2021 season at MSU he played and started in all 21 games. He scored two goals and had two assists on the season.
