Bio:
The Haitian U20 & U17 International has been a rock at the back for FC Motown going on 4 years now. His ability to put in top performances week in week out is a coach's dream, strong in the air and no nonsense when it comes to defending. In his spare time Jean is known to keep the players' whatsapp popping with his DJ and MC skills!
When did you join FC Motown?
- "I joined around the fall of 2018, just after the teams first ever NPSL National Final appearance that summer."
How did you end up at Motown?
- "I was playing for Cedar Stars and Oliver (Papraniku) sent me over to Motown. I have played a lot of games here since then!"
When was your best ever Motown performance individually?
- "My best performance was actually this year against the Jackson Lions. We know those guys and it's a big game for both clubs.It was pouring rain, so it was a tough environment also. We were 3-0 down, 3-1 at the half. We ended up pulling it back and winning it 4-3. It was a great feeling."
Your favorite Motown memory to date?
- "Again this season….. On Saturday away versus Tulsa in Oklahoma. The travel, the camaraderie then again coming back late in the game from 1-0 down to win it 2-1 was amazing."
Who has a place in your Motown Hall of Fame?
- "This is a tough one as I have played with so many talented guys so I am going to go with Dave Greczek our current goalkeeper, Joe Fala as a forward and Danny Cordeiro in midfield."
Describe the club to those who don’t know it.
- "Very welcoming, with open arms and dedicated to success."
Saturday August 6th, 730pm. NPSL National Final at home…. Thoughts?
- "Saturday will be a good game, the opponents are unfamiliar to us but we have done our homework. It is a final so whoever works the hardest on the field will win the game."
