Assistant Coach Alan McClintock
Alan McClintock was promoted to the role of assistant coach for the 2016 season. McClintock joined head coach Lenny Armuth’s coaching staff as a volunteer assistant in 2015. In 2017, he helped guide the Rangers to the Landmark Conference title as well as a berth in the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Division III tournament. One year later, he helped coach Drew to the ECAC title.
A Northern Ireland native, he brings over 15 years of experience in coaching youth soccer both here in the United States and in the United Kingdom.
McClintock is the Director of Soccer at United Soccer Academy, a youth training organization based out of Bound Brook, N.J. He has also served as the boys’ assistant varsity coach at Summit High School from 2010-16. In addition, he has significant experience coaching high school players locally with Summit SC, Scotch Plains SC and Soccer For Life programs.
His soccer coaching licenses include FA Level 1 and 2, UEFA B, USSF D, USC Director of Coaching, National and Advanced National Diplomas.
McClintock graduated in 2004 from Liverpool John Moores University in England with a BA honors degree in sport development and physical education.
