Scott Kindzierski attended and graduated from Delbarton High School Class of 1994. He continued his education and baseball career at Colgate University and then graduated from University of Arizona. He entered the accounting and consulting field and is a New Jersey Certified Public Accountant.
In 2012 he along with his high school classmate and teammate, Dan Karosen, started the FC Motown soccer team that originated from the No Idea Sports Co-Ed Soccer League. They entered the Garden State Soccer League and had a meteoric rise from the B Division all the way to the top of the Super Division. Scott was recognized as the New Jersey Soccer Association Coach of the Year in 2015.
Scott guided FC Motown to the semi-final of the USASA Men’s Open Cup in 2014, 2015 and the final in 2016. FC Motown also participated in the USASA National Amateur Cup reaching the Region 1 quarterfinal in 2014 and semi final in 2015 each time losing to the eventual national champion.
In the summer of 2016 Scott brought his management skills and talented squad to the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) where FC Motown partnered with NJ Copa FC (based out of Metuchen, NJ). NJ Copa FC had a historic inaugural season reaching the Northeast finals (finishing in the top 8 out of 85 teams). During their playoff run NJ Copa FC beat 2015 NPSL champion NY Cosmos Reserves.
FC Motown players formed the nucleus of NJ Copa FC scoring 24 of the 26 goals during the season.
The success of FC Motown continued into the fall and winter of 2016 in undefeated fashion, where they dominated the Garden State Soccer League going 9-0 with a plus 37 goal differential. FC Motown also is currently in the 3rd round of the Lamar Hunt cup defeating NY Cosmopolitan League powerhouse Landsdowne Bhoys who defeated multiple professional teams in the prior Cup.
