USSF D License – USC Director of Coaching Diploma – USC Level 1 GK Diploma

Besmir began his coaching career while still in high school with local town travel teams, having also played locally at the club level (NASA United- Wayne, NJ) and high school level (Morris Tech- Denville, NJ) after his many years at the recreational level (Wayne PAL- Wayne, NJ). Besmir also spent some time as a member of the Fairleigh Dickinson University- Florham Men’s Soccer team while obtaining his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (FDU-Florham Class of 2017). Upon completion, he worked at the City College of NY (Harlem, NY) while working on his master’s degree in Sports Administration (FDU-Florham Class of 2019). Besmir also spent time at other youth clubs in New Jersey, most notably with FCESA (Freehold, NJ) during the creation of the club and in its inaugural season.

Currently, Besmir works as the assistant men’s soccer coach at FDU-Florham, having returned to his Alma Mater under the newly appointed head coach, Keith O’Connor. Besmir continues to work with Jersey Crew Soccer Club with the 2003 Boys and 2001 Boys. Besmir began at JCSC one month shy of his 20th birthday, when he was given charge of the U19 Boys team at the club. Through his many years at the club, Besmir has seen his teams win many tournaments and EDP leagues, while also sending players to many colleges across the NCAA spectrum. Besmir is proud to have worked with teams ranging U15 to U23 in his time at the club.
